Got my '72 dash and console completely torn apart for general refurbishment.
I now have ready access to the heater/air box and controls. Not really excited about running the car with wires hanging everywhere and vacuum hoses hanging loose under the dash. Is there an "easy" way to test the heater/AC vacuum control for proper operation without the motor running? Specifically I'm looking for proper operation of the box that provides air direction, ie; direction of air up, down, vent, etc.
Today a number of forum members were helping me with a cockpit heat problem. There was discussion about 12 volt vac pumps and using a tire pump to check vac circuits.
check it out it might offer you some help. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1366080
