Getting to the point, i made a very careless mistake and fried my battery. I think it melted the ground terminal... so now i have to carry a socket wrench in the back to play with the terminal a few times before the car will start. This probably isn't safe, and definately is not convenient. I'm wondering if there's anything i can do to fix this, or do i have to bite the bullet and replace the 3 month old battery.
how exactly did you do this? if it was in the car when it happened, you may have some damaged wires... sounds like you shorted the h*ll out of it... that much current will surely burn the insulation right off a bunch of wires..... check before you have an even bigger problem... like fire.
