I put a removable rear window from a 72 in my 73. Bought the rear gasket from Zip along with the whole weatherstrip set. Three people I talked to had the same problem as me. The gasket is too big. I had to cut about 2" out of it. I started in a corner and made sure the cut was in the middle of the window on the top side.
That way no leaks. I used the 3M yellow weather strip adheasive. I put it in a section at a time, and used masking tape to hold it. When I was just about finished, Remove the masking tape and put the rear window in locking the clamps a little tight and left it dry overnight. I have washed it with a hose and have no leaks. The only thing is, it hardly ever stays in. I take it out, and since the car is garage kept it doesn't get put back in very much until winter. Very happy with a removable rear window
