radiator sprung a small leak. im sure more might be coming in the future and i want from here forward to be trouble free. would i be better off having the rad i have now recored, or should i just spend the 175.00 and replace the whole unit.

expensive, but some of the best radiators on the market for our cars. I'm sure many others will tell you the same.

I would tell you to have it recored.
Most radiators for $175 are aluminum/plastic ... and don't hold up long term.

That is, unless you have an extra 5 bills to spend on a radiator. I don't.
Then, by all means get a direct fit aluminum. Some day I will.

$175.00 one has lifetime warranty. I work in automotive field and are saving about 50%. Car will be driven about 2-3 times a month. radiator in there has lasted 25 years and has worked fine. Wasnt sure if recoring was much cheaper or not

is it the core thats leaking? or one of the end tanks? If its just the core, I dont see why you shouldnt... not sure on pricing, but guess its something to look into.
