1979 driveshaft not fitting...

Default 1979 driveshaft not fitting...
hey guys, i have the body off my 79 vette, i have the motor in with the jet hot headers and sidepipes...one problem..i put the bellhousing in, the tranny in..and when i tried to pu my driveshaft in...i 'm missing like two inches of driveshaft...i have two driveshafts but they are both the same...can anyone help? thanks

Did you try pulling on the slip yoke at the end of the tranny?
