Once and For All (Interior Dye)
okay, so I've been lookig at old posts for a while and we are going to take a final tally.
everybody post up which interior dye or paint they think is the best (as well as the worst if you've had a bad experience) and I'll count all the posts up in a week or two.
Corvette America if you are concerned with color match. Tried 3 others with mixed success but CA hit 35th anniversary white, 75 silver and 88 trim black to a T.

Corvette America... 1980 Doeskin...
Prepped with Purple Power then Denatured Alcohol...
3 very light coats on each part held grain and texture.
Still looks good 24 months later.
Lesson... just make sure you purchase all you need so that it all comes from the same "batch"...check the batch number on every can before you start...there are shade differences between them... Here are some pics.
How much of the dye did you guys use for the whole interior? I will be dyeing mine black, started as dark blue. Ill dye everything but the seats. I just wanna make sure I get enough so as not to cross batches.
