Default Just saying hey.

I am new to the vette scene. My father-in-law gave my wife his old L48 1979 w/41k original miles. I am in the process of trying to restore it. It has only seen 1k miles since 81 and has seen better days; body is straight, engine is solid, as well as tranny, needs paint, new interior and new rear differential, as well as other wear items. So far Ive replaced h20 pump, rad. hoses, valve cover gaskets, complete tune-up, and oil and cooling flushed. The 350 is running good except for small timing adjustment. I will probably be on here a lot for advice and opinions. I was a member of the chevrolet colorado forum and found it very useful and I am sure you guys will be just as helpful. Sorry for the long message. Justin

Rob a bank and THEN ask anything you want. It will all make sense later.
