Default [OT] I am finally DONE!!!

well, as of yesterday.... I am completely finished with college.

graduation isnt until may 6th, but all my work is in, presentations are done.... I've got NOTHING left to do!!!! I'm very happy, but at the same time, kind of upset that i'll be leaving this all behind. i guess its time to move on.. for those of you wondering, im getting a BS in Electrical Engineering Tech. with a minor in MET from Northeastern University... got myself a job all lined up, but I dont start unitl June 5th. I've got an entire month to do nothing but play with my vette!!!

sorry, just had to let that out...

Think it feels good now? Wait til the paychecks start coming in! Then, of course, you'll have to be working 40hrs a week (or more). Besides the paychecks, the next best thing has got to be the fact that there is no more homework.

I graduated with a BS in Aero Engineering in Dec 05 from Purdue. Been "looking busy" in front of this screen ever since.

Congrats and good luck!

Aaah, happy days. I remember the summer I graduated... 1994... Spent a month on a cycling tour of France, a month living with my GF and then a month with her on holiday living with my parents in Virginia Beach. Drove my first Vette that summer.

Enjoy your freedom and make the very best of it, JoeRags. You'll never have another opportunity like it after you've started work. There might be other times when you don't have to work for a few months, but they'll never be as worry-free as this one.

Associate Engineer - Electromechanical Devices
Engine and Control Systems

I didnt even go for the full blown EE.... i took Electrical Engineering Technology, what we like to call "Engineering Light." not as theoretical as straight EE, more hands on stuff, and more of a "how it works" rather than a "why it works" approach. still got myself a full blown engineering position out of it though!! and just as much, if not more money than the straight EE kids are making right out of school.

im happy though... love everything I learned so far.
