Yellow Ignition Wire
Hi All,
I've put in a new GM crate motor in my 74 along with new engine harness. Along with the new engine I put in a new high performance GM mini starter. After attaching the black and yellow wires to the + of the coil the wires start heating up when the key is in the run position. I'm using Don Olson's great wiring diagram that you folks suggested but I cannot find the problem. Could there be a short in the starter relay attached to the starter?
