I'm a "Matt", but I've got better things to do than sit on your fender all day, unless you have free beer, of course... Summit sells a halfway decent fender mat for like 7 bucks... I picked one up while I was at their store this past weekend...
if ya wanna go on the cheap side, harbor freight has them as well. if you are even cheaper than that, go to the dollar store. they market the stuff as gripper drawer liner.

I got my mat at Lowes. It is the same stuff except it is in a roll about 10' long. Just cut off however much you think you need and store the rest or line the drawers in your tool chest. Works great and it is the same thing.
I have the same one Rich has except mine says Sting Ray and it is nice soft rubber, will not slip off and holds the tools from slipping. In fact, at the show I purhcased it at, they advertise it at an angle with tools laying on it and the tools don't fall off.
Great product and I have had mine for a few years.
I am not affiliated with SnakeOYl inany way, just like the product. My neighbor bought one also for his T-Bird and he uses it all the time and like sit.
