Default Crossed Flags keychain?

Hey, I'm looking for nice keychain. I've been keeping my octagon key on the ring with my daily-use keys and I've decided that's stupid. I would like to find a nice enameled crossed-flags keychain. What I'm thinking is something like the hood emblem on my 68, but smaller and with a chain attached.

Anybody run across anything like that? I can get C4/C5/C6 keychains all day, but I haven't found squat for a C3.

They are few and far between indeed.

When I was a teenager, I had a late model C3 one (but wore it out...)
I have a 73 sunburst style now. No leads for you though.

Try the usual suspects for the stuff? (ebay, google, etc.)

Here one from the Corvette Museum. Not enamel though.

I have the top one in Adam's post. Pretty decent, and like you want, it's a separate keychain than my daily one, you know to make it more convenient for a thief who breaks into my house to know which keys go to the Vette.

Nope. I looked at MAD and ZIP. Googled it and found nothing...yet.

I don't like those ones with the key fob look. I want a chain with a dangling, twirling set of flags...kind like Zed's keychain fomr Pulp Fiction, but with flags instead of a "Z".

Something along this line, but with a ~1/2 scale crossed flag emblem. instead of the spark plug.

Some interesting ones I've found....

I found something a little different. There's a guy on e-bay who sells key chains made out of the exact model of you car in matchbox size. Mine is 68 LeMans blue coupe and it l;ooks like someone took my car na dshrunk it. Perfect in every detail and hood opens. Even the exact color match.
I think he buys your car in a Matchbox or Johnny Lightning 1/64 scale blister pack and then attaches a key chain to it.
Really nice,
Kurt

For me, those Eckler's fluffy vette jackets and dweeb corvette hats are a bit corny. I always wondered who buys those kind of things. I guess to each his own.

I've got a soft rubber molded Bat-emblem on my Corvette keys.

This may be really stupid, but after reading your post I had an idea...why not just get a new hood emblem(or the side emblems from a 77) and drill a small hole to run a chain thru and then attach a key ring to the other end. It may be a little big but it sounds like just what you want.

Thought about that, but haven't pursued it yet. My hood emblem is enormous. I wouldn't want to have to stuff it in my pocket. I would need to find a smaller version.

How about using the Gas Lid Emblem?? I think it is smaller than the hood emblem. Corvette America has them.
