So I haven't had my Vette a week yet and I was showing it off to some friends tonight. One of them says "So if it doesn't have a trunk then what's that keyhole for?" He points at the keyhole above the corvette lettering on the tail of the car. And honestly I have no idea...none of my keys will fit. Crawling under the back and looking up doesn't give any hints either. No mention in the owners manual. So I'm stumped... What's that keyhole for?

I had the same problem only mine was on the drivers side fender. Everyone thought it was to lock the hood. I guess thats a common thing to lock...WHAT!

Don't listen to these noobs...the keyhole is for the optional rear hatch:
I thought the other **** was for the windshield wiper door?
That may depend on the year. I didnt check to see what year he had.
My 72 has a big **** for the wiper door. My 73 and 75 do not have the wiper door, so the **** is not there.
On My 73 the alarm does not work, and who would give a Rodents Rectum it it did and was beeping. I use the switch as a kill switch to ground the ignition. Seems like a much better use to me. Most crooks would not think about that. (now that I let the cat out of the bag, I will need to do something else).
I used a kill switch that was spliced in AFTER a fuse holder. If someone tried to start the car the fuse would blow, then even if they found your switch the fuse would need to be replaced too.
