I remember seeing a post where someone said there were DVDs on how to install/build a short block chevy. Does anyone know what DVDs they were talking about?
Do they sell DVDs that teach you mechanical stuff like adjusting the timing, rebuilding carbs, tranny rebuild/installation? I find myself more of a visual learner and I would like to see the stuff being done. Just curious since I have a hard time learning from the books. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I recently picked up a book at the local book store called "How to Rebuild the Small Block Chevy". It is very picture oriented but the best thing is that it has a DVD attached in the back of it. The DVD shows an actual build being performed on a complete engine- very helpful to me.

I just bought that same book...$40 from Barnes & Noble, really good.
We're going to end up having to rebuild our engine, and it looks like the best book to do it step-by-step; a lot of the stuff it covers is stuff that's kind of glossed over in the service manuals.
