I have a poster that I made for shows. It lists the vitals of the engine and drive train and some of the more obvious mods like paint, audio and suspension. I also have a few pics showing the car being painted in my backyard. That always gets them. What it really does is answer some of the more obvious questions people ask during the day. I also have a photo album that details most of my projects.
I make the poster using either Microsoft Publisher or Print Artist. You design your page and then when you go to print it you specify the size you want. The program will then print multiple pages that are taped together to produce the large poster. My poster takes 9 pages when completed. I have it attached to a piece of 1/4 inch poster board which is attached to a folding wood easel that you can get from most art supply stores. When folded it fits behind the seats flat on the floor. When I take it out at car shows I usually wrap the strap from my clean up bag around the tripod chains in case wind tries to blow the poster over or away.
A few guys from the forum (Patsnitrovette, GordonM, Mr. Mojo, etc.) have seen the poster and might want to comment.
My younger son just finished a 2-year sign lettering and design program at a commercial art school. He's very good at the craft - he's working for 2 sign shops already. If you'd like him to give you a quote PM me and I'll put you in touch with him.
I just read a writeup on how to make posters with PowerPoint, and then you can take it to a Kinkos to have it printed. I looked at that website and created one of these in about 2 hrs. The website wants $150-$250. I am guess to print it won't be more than $40.
Those two colors (in a different pattern) are almost the exact colors from my '54 GMC. They're different, I think it's going back that way. Especially since I think it's the only remaining 1-ton Deluxe panel from that year.
