Between Norval, Twin Turbo, Doug, Chris, Eddie and all you other Vette Nuts I doubt that I will ever finish working on my '79. I found a Hurst straight chrome shifter at a hotrod show yesterday to go with my 5 speed install, so I will have to remove the seats and console to fit and bend the shifter, if necessary. This should make the shifter look more original. Thursday I bought heim joints a spreader rod and cut angle iron to make brackets for a shock tower spreader bar. After I get the angle iron mocked up I will trim them with a plasma cutter to reduce the weight and make it look more streamlined. Pictures will be posted when these projects are completed. I also found a set of bucket seats from a Dodge/Crysler Crossfire that looked as though they would fit; but I didn't have the $650 they wanted for them. Maybe another day. Thanks again for all the work you guys are causing and spending my retirement money on car parts!

The law of diminishing returns has slowed me down. I have no desire to fabricate a 6 link rear suspension or the like, the car handles fine with the bolt on equipment it has now, and as far as HP goes, there's always someone faster.
