Default Lars' Sabbatical

Lars has finally learned to say "NO". To get him to this position has taken great diligence and persistence on the part of the CCC. After years of working on other's vehicles, rebuilding hundreds of carbs and distributors for Forum members (and many, many others), building race cars, engines, doing restorations, and conducting Tuning For Beer Tours all over the country, the Professor is taking a well deserved sabbatical.

The reason, you ask?? The pictures tell the tale. By himself, in less than 4 hours Friday evening, he pulled the body from his '64. When this car is finished, it will be quite a machine (definitely "flightless".... ).

The Pics: 1. Ralph (in the midst of a body-off on a '66 himself) and Lars under the body on Lars' lift. 2. Rolling thunder. 3-5. Frame goodies. 6. lars drinking and driving...

Good news for Lars. I am guessing with the reputation he has on this board for carbs and distributors, it has bound to have made his reputation spread to some of the other boards. I can't wait to see how his vette progresses. Keep the pics coming. This should be good!!!!

Love that last pic.

Its not the engine at full tilt but the beer mug! Glad to see the priorities remain the same! Looking forward to seeing progress photo's here even if its not a C3, I'm sure that the moderators will make an exception in this case!
