Carpet help...Q.
Been so long since I had the carpet out...
(Area in question) the vertical area behind both seats...does the carpet come up and then bend over the ledge...then dive into the compartment? Second question: is there a trim piece at the top of the vertical? If there is a trim... I can't find it...ummmmm. If there is not trim... is this area just glued? Thanks in advance Don

Muddy I wish I could help you out. I dont think there is a trim piece and I think everyone advises to put glue on the verticle wall.
I dont have carpet in mine and cant remember how it was when I yanked her out. Sorry

Just did the one on my 73. Carpet just bends over the top and
I just tucked mine over. I did not put it under the rear compartment
trim but I guess you could. Put a bit of 3M adhesive glue on the
wall that is directly behind the seats. HTH

Ummmm...no wonder I can't find a trim piece... I'll re-phrase that, no wonder Joanne could not find the trim...
She's gonna kill me now
. Needless to say: Sure seems strange...just bending the carpet over...oh well!!! Thanks a ton!!!
