When we ride three or four deep we always have a designated hitter who is supposed to drive off while the others stop if an officer pulls up. The officer has to make a decision to chase the one or write tickets to the other two. 9 out of 10 times they want a pursuit so they chase the one.
Of course the designated hitter gets just far enough ahead for the other two to exit and then he pulls over and says he didnt see the officer. All three spread the expense of the ticket lol.

These guys got tagged for 100 mph...hanging out there bare running together.....
We have a vette go 1/2 mile out with a radio and one 1/2 mile back(rear)..vette in the middle makes his run when all clear...works pretty good...

If i recall correctly, the driver survived because he was thrown clear, but the car was a write off !
