thats just a styling change on the body you talking about right? I am not aware of any paperwork needed, what state are you in? As long as your not jacking around with the vin numbers I can't see any state giving you a hard time on anything except smog mods

im in NYC...........some one told me somethin about the bumpers........since im changing them so drastically..........ive never done anything like this before on something like a car.....which has to be inspected and all for safety and all that stuff......which is understandible cus you can kill some one with an automobile.........i was just wondering if they might give me problems due to the changes on the frame (since it sticks out so much further yknow????)

I don't think you'll need any additional paperwork. You won't be doing anything to the frame, your pretty much just changing the fiberglass. People that have fender flares don't have to do anything extra so why should you. 74 and up cars don't have steel bumpers. Only thing I've ever heard about bumpers is for lifted trucks b/c someone can slide under them so they have to have lower bumpers.

im actually in the process of trying to get the dimensions of that rear end tho............ill tell you tho .......just from looking at it and the way it seems to stick out further that any normal c3 rear end ........i think its gonna nead at least some modification 2 the frame........remember the rear end to the mako concept is pretty different

Don't beleive there is any paper work to fill out to drive the different body style but you will have to abide by certain rules like how wide the car can be (stay within Hummer width) and how much further the wheels can stick outside the body. Stupid little rules like that. Go to the DMV and find out what specs they require your year car to meet to pass inspection, thats your main concern. Then getting & paying for car insurance on a 76 vette in NYC is a whole nother can you might not want to open. Whatever you do good luck and build that fiberglass thick.

How old are you? Just curious because your profile says 8-16-0000.

Do you really have to ask? If you can't tell by his spelling/grammar (and IM-style posting technique), you obviously haven't been around many 16 y/old kids.

Well...if you've "masterd" "fiber glass", then why are you asking questions like this?

Tony I was guessing somewhere around 12, I guess I just give 16 year olds too much credit.
