Default AstroVentilation - 72 A/C Coupe

OK....... can someone explain what actually should (and should not) function with this astro ventilation on an a/c car pleeeeeeeease.
1972, SB, A/C

(I guess ultimately I am wondering should I be getting a flow of air out of the vents with the sticks pulled out?............ which then in-theory would exit the rear deck vents...etc).

Bob,
A/c equipped vettes use block off plates over the rear vents. I think there is an "air" selection on your center console that opens the forward vents via vacuum control?

roadster........ Possibly just using the "vent" selection just above heater will do it. (and thanks!). I guess I can always see what it takes to unblock it...........(unless its done already). because I dont detect a pressure build up inside with the windows open. (or I can just close the car up, put on the a/c and watch from outside.......put some light streamers on the vents to see if there is flow...etc

Hey............ thanks again!

On A/C cars the AstroVent system was non-functional.

Tom,
I think kaamacat is referring to the chrome vent ball control ***** at the lower right and left corners of the dash.

Can you tell me why A/C Cars have "AstroVentilation" on the side windows then?

Was this a bubba option (Part # BUBBA-0167) - or did the factory do this to my car?

It was just a standard inscription on side window glass....ac, non/ac...it didn't matter.
