Do you rely on the factory oil presure and the water temperature gauges? If you use after market gauges what brand do you use and how do you mount them to your dash? Please show pictures if you have them.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!

I only have the factory gauges in my cars. I am hoping that they are all accurate since that is all I can use to look at the water temp, oil pressure and voltage.

I finally started trusting my factory gauges after relying on aftermarkets for the first 100 miles. The factory guages in my 69 vert are on the high side reading but I know all is OK.

I replaced my water temp gauge with a SunPro (manual) gauge. That's the most important gauge as far as I'm concerned. The factory oil pressure gauge (very important, also) seems to work well.

Man..those look great! Did they fit the original openings, or did you have to modify the panel?

No mods on the center panel. 2 1/16" Autometers fit the factory holes. 5" speedo and Tach fit in factory cluster with some fabbed backing plates...
