I finally talked my Wife into letting me buy a Corvette last year. I have put together a Corvette fund for repairs and such but with kids and a new house it doesn't get filled to much. My interior is in need of replacement but until I can afford to do it I have used duct tape to cover some of the cracks in the door panels and dash. I feel bad for doing this to the car but.... Anybody else ever do this?

Do what? Ask a woman for permission to spend money or use duct tape on my interior?
No to the former, and yes to the latter ('85 F350 Crew Cab...using crushed velvet duct tape).
From: GA "When I grow up, I'm gonna get a Trans Am and run from the cops". Direct quote from my 4yo son.
Go with the duct tape. Heck, when visiting the wife's family in WV I've seen whole cars made of the stuff. I suppose that's why they have color matching now!?!

Tony, are you being facetious on the crushed Velvet duct tape?
I only ask because I've seen some REALLY funky different types of duct tape (reflective, black, yellow, red, green, blue, orange, purple, etc; I even saw a pair of kids who made their prom outfits out of 3M tape to get a $5000 scholarship each). But somehow, if there was a crushed Velvet duct tape, I'd believe it.
And as I said in a previous post...
"There is no problem in the world that can't be fixed without Duct Tape."
