Default Water pump date code?

Is there any place on the Web that has a list/definition of water pump date codes?

(NOTE: I am moving my opinion question to a new thread)

Its really up to the individual, if you want to keep it origional then buy the parts. Check into rebuilding your parts, it cheaper and you keep your origional case\housing...

Since the original engine is gone, I would not spend the extra to get correctly dated parts. Check out after market parts such as Stewart pumps.
