Default I Surrender....

As some of you know, I've been working on an EFI system to go on top of my (6-71 supercharged) 427 BBC. I built a setup to use 4 150# injectors inside of an Enderle bug-catcher, and put together a Megasquirt computer, to drive it all...

Thread where there was more discussion about this is here

But now, having just got married two months ago, I need to come up with a second car. My choices are simple: try to get the tuning completed and run this... which honestly, would be ridiculous... Or simply sell the supercharger, put a Preformer intake on it with a Demon carb, and run it...

Simply put, I've run out of time to tinker with this... So for now, it's better (((sigh.... ) to go back to basics, and worry about a blower later...

So, I'll post a few pics here, and details in the "For Sale" section... But the price for the blower setup (including 2" drive and pulleys, intake, everything needed to install on a BBC- except gaskets) is $1500. If you want me to include the entire EFI system as well (including the Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump, regulator and filters, and MS computer), I'll include this for an extra $500...

Pics of the engine with supercharger and EFI system...

Awwwwwwww But it is soooooooo close. I mean to replace everything would take time.

It looks fantastic. I do hope you reconsider.

You can stop progress and tinker later...but to get rid of all your hard parts is something you gotta figure out how NOT to do.

Things are rapidly changing in my life. While I have no intention of selling the car, especially since I built personally built the engine, installed the trans and rebuilt the front suspension, the facts are what they are- I need the car to be useful now, as opposed to collecting dust, while my situation requires a second car.

I can always buy another supercharger when I'm bucks-up, and now that I've done the EFI adapter setup, it'll be fairly easy to do it again. But since the engine will run quite nicely without the blower, it's better to put it into service quickly, as opposed to having it do nothing... So my decision has been made.

No big deal, really. As long as the engine is in good condition, I can do it all later... But thank you, for the input.
