69 valve covers?

69 valve covers?
I'm looking at a 69 with an engine code of HY which I'm not sure if it's the 300 or 350 HP engine. Also, did these engines have chrome valve covers or does anyone have a picture of an original 69 350 engine bay they could post so I could see them?

Were they painted orange? The gentleman told me the original engine was rebuilt with solid lifters so would clearance be an issue for changing out the valve covers? Thanks for the replies.
