Does anyone have a picture of the wiring for the back of cluster on a 1969 Coupe L-46. I don't need the diagram already have it , I need to see pictures or could someone take some and send to me.
Hi Don your becomming my fast Hero. Yes I have those pages and an AIM but as you can clearly see they do not define color code. Anyhow maybe I'm not explaining myself correctly. I have done everything that I can think of, I still have no dash lights. The gray wire comming off the juntion for a radio connection is not connected. There telling me that its part of my intrument panel and needs to be connected, but where? All my bulbs are accounted for. Does a socket bulb go on this lose wire?
I don 't have any materials here, but I defintiely know that my
dash and guage cluster have the wire colors clearly embossed
in the steel housing - where each bulb plugs in.
Take a close look to see if yours does, too.
I have a 69 tach & spedo in my garage. Give me you email address & I'll send you a couple pics. I'll try to get a close up shot so you can see the colors.
If memory serves correct, all the grey wires were "dash" lights. I would make sure you have good grounds. No ground - no lights!
I need the console guages including radio area, not the speedo and tach those are not the area that are causing me problems. Please read my message again I don't know how else to state it. <y email is kim1959@***.net Yes my wires on console housing is clearly marked but I need the three wires black, yellow and gray for the radio I have yel and black hooked up but not the gray I think this is why my dash lights don't work. I don't know where the gray wire goes, my radio does work.
