Definitely the car GM SHOULD HAVE built. Awesome job. I can't imagine the kind of work needed to get you to this point so far. Great job!

JUstForFun,

The car looks great! Good job!

With the TPI install, where did you mount the ECM?

Thanks. I mounted it in the cargo compartment behind the pass seat where the jack is

Any idea what you are going to do about an air filter? I had to trim about 1/4" off of each fan blade plus trim the rubber boot on the K&N air filter to get mine to fit. I'm planning on installing an electric fan in the near future, but a cold air intake of some sort would be the best solution.

I did the exact same thing. had to trim the fan blade, used a KN filter as you have.

That looks really nice. I hope to start my conversion later this summer. Didn't I read that you used an ACI conversion? I know they sell the deck, but do they also sell the hinges and the lid that raises?

pieces you will need:

Deck lid, drain channels, and floor pans-ACI

Hinges, hinge mounts, deck lid and hardware-Ebay (i just sold a brand new set of hinges for 75 bucks) wish i had kept them

You will need someone and something to mold some pieces to connect door pillars to the decklid. The deck lid is only about 98% complete. you will need to fabricate the remaining pieces.

You will also need some deck panel bracing. We used angle brackets.

Make sure you have a factory vert avail for comparison....this is important

Very nice. GM should've definitely continued making C3 verts after 1975.
