Default The Thrash

OK, so here's the deal. I had some body cracks in the front fiberglass bumper and the strip in front of the headlamps. So, about a month ago, I disassembled everything, fixed the cracks and proceeded to repaint from the wheels forward. Naturally everything took at least twice as long as I expected. So I have a car show on June 3rd which leave me two weekends and a couple free nights to get it all back together. I still have to color sand and buff all the paint, clean and polish the engine compartment, clean up the undercarriage and give the interior the once over. And I'm noticing a small stress crack in the left rear fender which should be fixed and touched up too. So the thrash will be on until completion. Sometimes I feel like I'm American Hot Rod.

Al, do you know when the big Classic Car Show is in South Jersey? I think the Gloucester County Times has something to do with it...

If it's the one at Classic Chevrolet on Rt. 38 in Moorestown it's May 21st. Here's a link
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1368578

The one I'm signed up for is June 3rd at the Cherry Hill Mall on Rt. 38 in Cherry Hill. It's sponsored by the Courier Post. I wanted to go to the Spring Fling that Boardwalk Corvettes puts on at Smithville NJ on June 4th but I have a christening to go to. I'm praying for good weather on Saturday the 3rd and a monsoon on Sunday the 4th so they'll have to rain date the Spring Fling until the next weekend.
