First off great to see you have solved the problems with the race car. Great times!
If you are looking for shocks for the race car I would specifically recommend the QA1's. We used to have adjustable drag Koni's on the back and had bad problems with porpoising. Once we switched to the QA1's and got them adjusted properly we've had no more problems with that. They keep the backend down and the tires planted all the way down the track. Although we are still running on the ragged edge of traction with 8.5" Hoosier Quick time pro's.

The QA1's are just way too much $$$. Don't wanna spend that kinda money on shocks...
QA-1 shocks are cheap compared to what double adjustable Koni`s are worth!! And if your too CHEAP for them lets not waste time!!

If you explain the benefits that could be had with some of this more high end stuff maybe people would be more willing to pony up.
The guys in my track club were also telling me about a set of shocks that could cost 3-4 grand. Thats more than my car is worth! This is the slippery slope that is "racing".
I could pay for 20+ track days with that much green. And everybody but everybody says getting seat time should be priority 1.
