Default compressor

my brother-in-law gave me his old compressor, the hose leaks and the guages don't work too well.

Is it worth keeping? I'd have to invest in a new hose and some accessories.

What do you guys think, and what accessories can this old thing handle.

Hey, if it works, use it. It will run an impact and a wratchet, but your not gonna want to try and paint the car with it.
Compressed air is a very handy thing to have in the garage.

Heck yes grab it! Gotta warn ya though, when you grow to appreciate air tools, you begin a quest for more CFM, faster recovery time, and more accessories! Bwa-ha-ha-ha-haaa!

Once you have owned an aircompressor you will wonder how you ever lived without it. You will be surprized how much you will use it around the house. Airing tires blowing parts clean airing up pool toys, baloons a million uses. I see it is a 120 volt electrical source so make sure the outlet you use is atleast a 15 amp circuit breaker. My first compressor was a120v and I would be using it and it would quit and I found out my wife or daughters were using hair dryers or curling irons or vacumning. Have fun with it.

It won't handle much, but still worth keeping for filling up tires/blowing off parts etc.
