Lowest roof?
I was at a car cuise last week and after walking around the parking area, I glanced over to see if my car was still there. I couldn't see my car, I mean it's so low. I never realized how low our roofs really are in comparison to other cars. The closest in height was still at least 4-5 inches taller.
I was parked between a '70 GTO and a '68 Chevelle.
However, one night while up on the turnpike (berlin turnpike - local hot spot) I was in the vette and heard this loud "thing" coming up next to me but couldnt see it. looked out the drivers window and barely saw the roof of a GT-40
well, i can't get a regular jack under my car...even un the rear spring...... and my front tires tuck about 3/4" into the wells...... not much room for me..... but the handling is nice........
Jeremy Clarkson (from the review show TOP GEAR) behind one...didn't fit in it...
The GT-40 was 40" tall. (they had put a "bubble" in the roof of the 15 car above to accomodate Dan Gurney's height )
Lamborghini Countach 41"-42" (depending on year)
Vector W-8 was 42"
New Ford GT is 44.3"
Ferrari Enzo is 45.2"
C4 Corvette coupe 46.5"
Bugatti Veyron 47" C3 Corvette coupe 47.5"
C5 Corvette coupe 47.5"
C6 Corvette coupe 49.1"
C2 Corvette coupe 49.8"
C1 Corvette coupe 51.5"
2004 Porsche 911 GT3 53.8"
I've seen a Vector W-8 and a GT-40 in person. Seen several of the others, too. I only live a few miles from the Kruse auction house. It's difficult to describe how short they are except to say that I'm an average 6" tall and I could LITERALLY bend at the waist over the roof of either. They are as tall as my belt buckle is from the floor. It really is hard to fathom until you've stood next to one.

all i know is i seem to have to dodge SUVs on an all to regular basis because i sit below their mirrors. of course that would only apply if people actually used their damn mirrors and not try to merge lanes without looking...
try going from a 4 cylinder sonoma pickup to a v8 small block vette...... can i say i say alot of words to the sonoma when it doesnt want to pickup and go....

C1 Coupe?
Lowest I've ever seen was a Porsche 917 Longtail. I didn't measure it, but it was parked near a GT40 MkII and a GT40 MkIV and made them look tall.
Yes that's a REAL Daytona Coupe next to it in that 2nd pic.
