Ah...the kid and the crank. Those two were like Dennis the Menace and Mr. Wilson... 
The kid might learn something from his vacation time (and I'm sure he got hoodwinked by someone for hotlinking). I think the other is far too set in his ways to ever change (if I'm right about who it is). I have to say the latter was the worst offender, with his bad habit of calling out other posters for relatively trivial matters and generally nasty attitude. If I was a moderator here, he wouldn't be coming back (not calling out anyone here, gdania - just saying how I would handle it).

That gigantic hydroboost picture was starting to give me a headache anyway

Jughead, im sure the mods or admin didnt do it.
If someone hotlinks to a website that I own they are "borrowing" or "stealing" bandwidth. My website designer can do a thingamajig and let me know someone is hotlinking to my site. I can change the html addy to the pic on my site and whoever hotlinked to it will now show whatever pic I placed with the new html instead of the original.
On the same token, if I post a picture here on the thread and you copy my pic using my link as a reply to my thread I can go in and put up another picture in my original thread with another link but the same image, and then change the original image to something offensive and the offensive image will show up in your thread and if your asleep or away you wouldnt know it until you got back.
Its internet trickery... hope it sorta explains things...

I didn't think the mods would do that, just wondered if someone could hack into the post.
I get it now, I'll have to try that. You change the link on the first picture and then change the picture on the "copied" link?
