In a totally unscientific sampling, both respondents each have one, therefore by extrapolation, all 543,000 survive. Respondent #2 has two, meaning there could be some fakes out there as well. As further proof I have one also.

Count me for one. at least I think? I hope I dont have a fake. How can I tell? Mine is an all steel body, is that correct? and has "COREVET" spelled that way on the back. Never mind it must be a real one the guy who sold it to me said it was one! How rare do you think it is?

Does that have the 2.3 litre four cylinder or the 3.8 litre V6?
ok, if you take your quoted figure of 543,000 C3's, I've taken the time to very carefully research all sources, including the responces already in this thread and counting those cars in I have come to the conclusion that out of the original 543,000 C3's produced there are 317,791 left.
To simplfy things I took TFI Racing's fraction of a vette and rounded up to a whole number.
My number is based on many, many, many seconds of careful research and a random picking of 6 digits, the first one starting below "5" to come to my stated conclusion.
If requested, I can produce documents to back up my conclusions if you give me enough time to create them although to be honest it would take more time and trouble to create the back-up documentation than it took me to create my answr so just take me at my word!
