Default Offset trailing arm problem

My 72 had offset trailing arms when I got it, but no parking brake. Although the shoes, etc are in, the rear cable is not and there is only the rear guides for the cable on them. I want to weld the front ones on them, but am having trouble with placement. Does anyone have them with photos of how the cable is run?

How do you clear the rear spring with the wheel? And what about the rear sway bar getting into the tire?

Thanks SSS

People used to shorten their springs ... now you can buy them shortened.
Guldstrand has a shortened main leaf they sell. Also, I think VanSteel
carries a shortened spring.
For the sway bar, you can bend the end inward to try and clear the wheel,
or do without a rear swaybar.
I guess you could make a custom one with the splined bars and bolt-on ends.
