Is European synthetic oil really different than the US oil ??? I was just over there last week and a 5 liter (5.3 qt) can Castrol is roughly $80 at the current euro exchange rate. Wow.....
Now all the talk on LS1tech about the "German blend" Castrol and the "gold" vs. "green" oil...
I guess I'm lucky that I got almost 100000 troublefree miles on my DD with the synthetic blend Valvoline or Castrol (whatever is cheaper) that I'm using ???
Are there any additives in European oil that are not in US oil ? Is there anything in Euro-oil that is not allowed here ? If so, how can they sell Euro-oil here in the US ??
