Who has Hooker Maxflow mufflers ??
How loud (or quiet) are these 2.5" Maxflow mufflers for Hooker sidepipes ?
Currently I have Sweet Thunder's 2.25" chambered mufflers. I like the sound and they're not too loud for my taste but my wife complains
Are the Maxflows quieter ?? I don't want to install the reverse flows (too restrictive) and don't want to spend $$$$ for STS baffles....

This is what I purchased for my sidepipes but they are still in the box. Sounded like a good compromise between straight old glasspacks and the more restrictive reverse flows.

Best sounding sidepipe muffler I have tried....and I have tried several. They may be a bit louder than the old small core Hooker glasspacks, but sound and flow in a different league. They are quieter than chambered mufflers I fabbed up years ago.

I tried a set, and they were LOUD. Much louder than the Spirals I was using. Ended up selling them to a fellow Forum member and went back to the Spirals. They do sound bad *** at idle, made my ears bleed at freeway speeds.
