Default Will this motor "bolt-up"?

I would like to install a 90's Camaro motor in my 1976 Corvette. Is the motor/transmission (as seen in the auction below) a "drop-in" type of transplant or will I have to do many modifications?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB..._BIN_Stores_IT

Mucho gracias!

Lots of modifications...

Computer to run the thing is one of them. A lot of guys have made the swap and they seem to be always doing something or another on them. Would be cool though!

Cost ya several thousand for the computer to run it, and the tranny computer, and all the re-wiring needed, etc...

Why not a 1971-76 motor with MSD Elect Ignition?

Several thousand dollars just for the computer?!? Ai carrumba! What is the "PCM" they mention in the auction (Included: Complete engine assembly with all front drive belt driven accessories and brackets, transmission, OEM engine harness and PCM)?

Megaladon is doing this, check the archives. Lost of work, tranny tunnel mods, shifter/linkage changes, frame clearance issues for the serpentine setup, computer problems as mentioned, etc etc.

So, it's been done so it's possible, but it's far from easy or cheap.

las Cruces, ah "carraho" tell me, is "el Patio" in Messilla Park still in business, ? swap is very possible and it depends on how much of the computer harness you can use and be happy with a pieced together system that may or may not perform up to yer expectations. I was gonna do the same swap, even bought an old ( '95 9C1 )Caprice cop car as a donor but financially it aint gonna happen because of a "FORMER FRIEND & MENTOR" who is so far beating me out of money that I loaned him I was going to use a B.W. super T-10 instead of the automatic, now the car is for sale,, the cop car,,, never the Vette. Good luck,,,Peace,,,Moosie
P.S. is there still a Winchells in town ?
