I have a 1975 Stingray that I have had for over 20 years and have just renewed my interest in it. I find I will need to replace quite a few things. My question is, is there a site I can go to to find out more about my specific car, engine, etc., by placing a vin number and getting the info.
Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Tim.
I don't know of a "specific" site for the '75 and would be interested if you find one. I think this site is the best so far as getting any questions answered.
I too own a 75. What info do you need?? I have books on just about everything you would want to know. You can PM me or just post it here. I'll do what I can We would need the VIN number.
Man,I think that's the nicest 75 I've ever seen.
Mine is a coupe. It was originally silver, but now it's more like a charcoal.Maybe someday I'll put it back to silver.
I agree! I don't know why Corvette didn't have it from the factory....it just looks "unfinished". I got the cover from Ecklers for about $49. You just put your windshield wipers in the "up" position and it just slides down to the area. To ensure that it would stay in place, I used some small stainless steel screws to anchor it down. I had the lettering done at a local sign shop...it's vinyl letters and they charged me about $10.00.....make sure they follow the slight curve of the cover....
Good Luck!
P.S. You can have it painted to match your car....I have one that matches that I use strickly for shows....
I'm a '75 owner too! Mine's still "under-construction" in the garage.
I've found a lot of info from this forum, and also from corvettefaq.com(http://wiki.corvettefaq.com/index.php?title=Main_Page) . Best bet is to buy the Chevrolet Service Assembly Manual for your Vette. It's got diagrams on everything.
If you order a free CD Catalog from http://keenparts.com/ you get great diagrams of all the major parts for Vettes. Their website also has the diagrams.
I own a silver 75 coupe, original owner, 41,000 miles. Where did you get the hood stripes? NICE CAR!!!
Thanks! You can get them at MidAmerica ( http://www.madvet.com/shop?frame=1.3884 ) for $29.99. I own a sign shop and have made these for the past 2 years. I charge $25.00 and mine includes a small outline around the main stripe and in your choice of colors.
