Default Correct Intake!
Gents
How can I tell if I have the "Correct" original intake in my 74 L82? Should it be cast iron or aluminum and...where are the numbers on the carb? Any tips on routing the speedo cable ....the guy before me added headers and the cable melted!

According to My resto book You should have a cast iron intake
with casting number 340261. Carb number on main body of carb.
drivers side. Auto. #7044210 4 speed #7044211
