Fuel flat spot
I have had to change carbie on my 1980 corvette and since doing so have inherited a flat spot particularly when motor gets hot on take off. Need to nurse car from stop to go but once running all is OK. When car is cold it's great. Seems I am getting vapourisation. Return line is disconnected but was originally. Situation worse on std unleaded, better on high octanes. Can anyone advise?
Also any experiences with Fox soft tops for Targa, do they work?

If it is an Autozone / Advance....etc....rebuilt unit, that "quality" is to be expected. My Autozone Q-jet was terrible...so I took it back and rebuilt the original carb and got good results.
