Under Hood Art / Decals
Sitting at the car show today...looking at a blank black underside of my hood....I'm thinking about having either a nice decal put under the hood of my 80 or having some art painted... Don't like the idea of giving someone my hood to paint on so I would prefer a tasteful decal if possible.
Does anyone know where to purchase anything like this? I looked on Ecklers but didn't find anything.
Would also like to see any work anyone has done to the underside hood of their Vettes.

Wow! Very nice! Would love to do something like this am not willing to give my hood up. Am looking of a decal of sorts...can always remove it if I'm not pleased.

and even still.. I put base/clear coat down.. only thing he did was apply some flames with an airbrush

This is what I have under my hood. The flags I had made the lettering is the ones for thr C5 rear insert letters.

This older guy around here had a '70 coupe. It looked like it was customized in the mid to late 70s. It had a heavy flake green lacquer job, 70's vette factory aluminum wheels, and flares, ground effects, and front spoiler. He had artwork under the hood too. It looked like a pro airbrush job. It said "The love machine". It's even funnier if you know this guy.
