Not a fan of flames on a Vette...especially ghosties. The curves of the car are flamboyant enough. Anything flashy (flames, chromalusion, etc.) in the paint tends to look trashy/tacky to me. I like a nice simple metallic.
It all depends on the base color of the car. My car is blue silver. i think light silver ghost flames would look great. The more faint the better in my opinion.
The veh is supper white (code 40). the paint shop who does my work suggest reflective peral white. wouldnt see it in sunlight, but in low light, cross angle, or direct light would reflect light misted silver flames.
I have them under the hood and in the door jambs along with shaded flames. Standing behind the car with the hood raised, it looks like the engine is in flames. People don't really notice the ghost flames until they step up to the front and actually see the hood from a few feet away.
