Convertible Top Replacement
What is a ballpark replacement cost of a top, including labor,
using a quality top supplier? Mechanically the tops seems
to operate fine. The car is a '72. Thanks.

$400-$600 would be fair.
The top material, windlace, and wire-on is about $170
Weatherstrip is another $150
Tackstrip (if needed) is about $30
Once the material is ripped off, there may or may not be a rust problem to deal with. If the top is not aligned properly now, it should be done while the fabric is off. That is also the time to paint it, if needed. Make sure you get a very clear picture of the work to be completed and what is and is NOT included in the quote...
