Default Hood dimension differences

Can someone tell me how I can figure out whether I have a stock BB hood, or and L-88 hood? I imagine measuring the rise would be the easiest way.

I always thought I had the stock BB hood (and still do), but someone recently suggested I may have the L-88 hood. I'd like to find out for sure since I'm about to buy an intake...

Thanks, my tape measure is ready and waiting!

With an L88 hood you can pour some beer onto the hood and sip it up with a straw.

With a stock BB hood you will have to sip the beer off of the ground.

Thanks, I searched but didn't come up with that one. Looks like an L-88hood.

Well, I feel like a d*mn fool now, I wish I had know this two months ago. I would have went with a different cam grind to work with the Performer RPM intake I'll now be using (instead of the torker II).

Oh well.... To late now...
