Well I broke down today...

... and ordered a new Keisler TKO-600 5 spd kit for my '69 SB. It will ship July 7th. Should be an easy install since my body and frame are still "separated"

The more I stray from original the better it feels

BTW: I missed the memorial day sale but they still took care of me

you will like it the 700r4 final ratio is something like .7 and it cruises so nice at highway speeds....you will be happy!

Anybody have an idea of what's involved in installing the new 6 speed Corvette paddle shifting automatic?

I'm not 100% sure but I think the new 6 speed Corvette paddle shifting automatics are controlled by the on board ECM. Never really thought about that type of conversion before.

We've had the tranny for 3 weeks waiting on the driveshaft...
