Vacuum Tank Repair or Replace

I tested the vacuum tank from my 68 and guess what, it has so many microscopic holes I couldn't even estimate how many. Looks like a replacement is expensive. Anyone ever sealed one? Maybe with the sealer that is used on motorcycle gas tanks (on the oustide of course). I guess it has to be UV and heat resistant.

VAcume tank repair

i have sent many tanks out for repair to a radiator shop. They can pressure check & weld up cracks. Glues & epoxy will never work. Best of luck Doug

I believe mine leaks also. What a pain to remove the tank though. Thought about some type of sealant for the inside also but never really pursued it. If you go this route be sure to post your results.
