Default 68/74 interchange

About two months ago I bought a bird cage and rear clip for a 68 converitble with a rear clip. Last month I found a 74 parts car in fairly good shape.

The body on the parts car is in good shape, I am just wondering how much of it I'll be able to use.

- I take it the doors aren't going to fit with the convertible top. Will I need to replace them with 68s or is the glass the only difference.

- Will the front clip line up to the rest of the car?

- The 68 rear clip isn't in good shape, especially around the wheel wells, can this section of the 74 be cut out and put on the 68 clip?

Believe that it is the glass that is the only difference. Also the door release is different. 68 used a push button and 74 used the lever/flap.

Not sure here. The rear edge of the front fenders changed between 72 and 73 due to the elimination of the wiper door. So there could be some differences in alignment.

The 74 fender wells have a flair to them. This flair started with the '70 model year.
