Road rage = Corvette driver dead
Just heard on the news that a road rage incident turned ugly in Hayward, CA.
It seems the driver of a '67 Corvette was chasing a Benz driver after words were exchanged in traffic. Chased him into a cemetery at high speed and crashed into a mausoleum killing the driver of the Corvette.
The whole scene was witnessed people gathered there for a funeral.
Absolutely bizarre.
oops, I see a link for this news was already posted earlier.

Yeah, needs to hang out in OT for awhile and learn from OD how to punch up a thread title.

Road Rage....
Sometimes you just gotta let it go. If they cut you off....so what.. slow down, let them go....and you get to live longer.
sad to hear the ending of this for the persons family.

A 67 corvette engaging a 'newer Kompressor / turbo Benz' in a high speed chase thru traffic?
That's how internet trash talking leads an enthusiast from understanding the limitations of his own car.

I thought almost the same thing. Possibly not one of the 197 '67 L-88s, but I momentarily lamented the passing of the '67. We could rationalize it didn't have matching numbers and had been tubbed out.....

The wheels don't look factory stock. Probably had a factory stock suspension system? . 327 or 427 motor? This generation was more difficult to drive

Sad part is they will probably bring the body 20 miles for an autopsy, then bring it back to the same cemetary for burial...
