I can see a little sense in Dean's e-mail post.- IF--- every car in America was only filled to half full, then a huge amount of gas that is usually carried around in cars would become a huge reserve. Consumption would stay the same, but the impact of that amount might help the "supply and demand" situation. ??
This would not affect supply/demand. As stated by others, OPEC has far too much control over supply for demand-side economics to have any lasting affect on pricing. To boot, higher gas prices seem bo be having little to no effect on driving habits and vehicle purchase decisions. Don't expect gas to ever be under $2.00 USD / gallon again.
Well you folks sure have some great points on this as I thought you would. It is a good thing I don't even like eggs But I do own a C3 that loves gasoline so now I look back to when George W took office and when gas was affordable. Will we ever get a break
When someone sent me that Email I thought well maybe there is some hope, just maybe
