Done!!!! (Pic's)...
LittleJake: yea, I noticed the progression of my own relationship within the thread...
Too funny! Joanne is the G/F...and we are both very comfortable with that. Needless to say, I sure wouldn't want to spoil it as it works just fine as is. Have to add, sure is nice to partake in a hobby that your signifiant other enjoys too. By the way...she looks great behind the wheel
War Bonnet: Yes! the Dynamat & Zero Clearance worked like a charm. No heat what so ever
66L36Coup: I haven't talleyed the total... I would estimate close to or just over 20K for the restore. I made a big savings, as I painted the Vette myself. Look under my threads under Costo Paint Booth
Kessler: The rims are 17x8 W/4 inch B/S all the way around. The Tires are 255/50/17 all the way around too.
Rich: Thanks !
And Thanks to all the complements...there a ton of fun!!!! and even more to drive!!!!
C5_droptop: The color is War Bonnet Yellow, which is the original color. Yea, getting a ton of complements on the color. I have to say, it even looks better standing next to it...

Hey, it was Vetts like yours, Wade's, Eddie's, Rich's, Gordons and the likes that inspired us to get the results we now enjoy!
Again thanks!!!Someone asked...how long it took?? We managed this project in just shy of one year. Needless to say: it was a pretty intense year. We did not want to miss the 06 season. Our motto is: work hard...play hard.
We are also looking for another project!! Got a line on a L89 but would settle on a 70 LT-1 Vert.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I am in my 6th year and I don't think mine will look that nice!
Again excellent job!Wade
Modestly... I have to agree. My thoughs, I was invited to the show by a member that helps run that show whom I have been in contact with through the whole restore. He helped me a ton (through email w/pic's) and just wanted to show him some of his results. Anyway, I was not a member of their club...and did witness first hand, all 15 Vetts in my class. Believe me, I knew who won !
and did not lose any sleep over it...
Gentlemen...again thank you for your charming comments. It's very humbling to say the least.
Blackrat, Wade...oh your so wrong!!!
I can see very clearly whats coming out of your garage.TonyK72: Thanks my friend. I remember who posted my first pic's.
And I do agree with the rubber fuel line. I actually have the GM correct pieces and will have them installed this week. Thanks for the heads up.

In regards to the build... Front end is all poly, original springs caped off with Koni's. Tranny is rebuilt: All gears were perfect except reverse which we changed out along with all bearings. Drive line was re-balanced. TA's were rebuilt by an excellent Corvette mechanic. Diff. was rebuilt, bearings, clutches, new ring and pinion. The R&P looked pretty good but, decided to replace. Stock spring 9 leaf w/9inch bolts and toped off with Koni's. She's new my friend and feels good is an understatement. At the moment, Im haveing a bit of trouble with the secondarys. Not quite right and just today found a great shop with a Dyno. This should be good! I'll post results.
Buffalo Dude: I don't belive that for a second!!! smile
